Districts
MCSSA serves the DHHS offices in all 83 Michigan counties. In order to facilitate and encourage communication between neighboring or like sized counties, the association is divided into six districts who meet regularly in district meetings. The districts are configured as follows:
DISTRICT I:
Alger, Baraga, Chippewa, Delta, Dickinson, Gogebic, Houghton, Iron, Keweenaw, Luce, Mackinac, Marquette, Menominee, Ontonagon, and Schoolcraft.
DISTRICT II:
Alcona, Alpena, Cheboygan, Crawford, Iosco, Montmorency, Ogemaw, Oscoda, Otsego, Presque Isle, and Roscommon.
DISTRICT III:
Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Clare, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Lake, Leelanau, Manistee, Mason, Mecosta, Missaukee, Newaygo, Oceana, Osceola, and Wexford.
DISTRICT IV:
Allegan, Barry, Berrien, Calhoun, Cass, Clinton, Eaton, Ionia, Kalamazoo, Kent, Montcalm, Muskegon, Ottawa, St. Joseph, and VanBuren.
DISTRICT V:
Arenac, Bay, Gladwin, Gratiot, Huron, Isabella, Lapeer, Midland, Saginaw, St. Clair, Sanilac, Shiawassee, and Tuscola.
DISTRICT VI:
Branch, Genesee, Hillsdale, Ingham, Jackson, Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Washtenaw, and Wayne.
