MCSSCET SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISER SILENT AUCTION
The silent auction has become a favorite tradition at the conference, giving members a fun opportunity to shop for gifts while supporting the MCSSA Scholarship Fund. Thanks to your generosity, more than $50,000 in scholarships has been awarded over the years to students pursuing education in human services and Medical Care Facility-related fields.

The Scholarship Selection Committee asks each county and/or individual member to donate at least one item for the auction. Please bring donated items directly to the conference and do not send them to the MCSSA office. To help ensure a positive experience for all participants, we kindly request that all donated items be in mint or near-mint condition — new, or clean, well-maintained, and gently used.

The silent auction will run throughout the conference in the meeting space. Winning bidders must pay for and pick up their items after bidding closes on Wednesday before departing the conference.

Please notify the MCSSA office of your donation(s) by September 5, 2026, by calling 517-371-5303 or emailing . Be sure to include a detailed description of the item(s). Past donations have included resort or bed-and-breakfast stays, handcrafted items, gift certificates, and more — all contributions are appreciated.

There are several ways to support the scholarship fund at the annual conference:

  • Donate an item to the silent auction
  • Participate in the 50/50 raffle
  • Contribute through the donation section of your conference registration form

Donations made before June 30th will count toward your county’s goal for the Michigan 83 County MCSSA Scholarship Fund Challenge.

Thank you for your continued support!
